WHO WE ARE

RRER IS A RETAIL FOCUSED DEVELOPMENT CONSULTING COMPANY PROVIDING SERVICES TO DEVELOPERS, MALL OWNERS, PUBLIC AGENCIES AND PRIVATE PARTIES.

We have 30 years of experience working with public agencies, retail tenants and landlords to create retail projects that withstand the breadth of time. All work having been done in California gives RRER an advantage when it comes to understanding the entitlement and planning processes unique to California. We have gained our knowledge of retail and development from executing retail leases, locating sites for anchor retail tenants, setting entitlement strategy for such sites, and making certain that retail functions properly within the structures of mixed use projects.

Christine Firstenberg

RRER, led by Christine Firstenberg, a 30 year retail real estate veteran, joins with other individual consultants, to create teams that have in-depth expertise in planning and placemaking with real-world experience in retail design, leasing strategies, and implementation programs. The combined experience of team members can deliver consulting services that not only speak to the aspirations of a community and the private sector, but can bring a 2 dimensional plan to 3 dimensional fruition. Our focus is creating a redevelopment process that can be implemented!

Christine Firstenberg, Principal and Founder, has a deep level of experience in ground-up development, master planning, merchandising planning, and retailer strategic expansion. Her experience and attention to detail is why Merritt Sher, (Founder of Terranomics and ICSC legend) asked Christine to form a new company with him and his partner Mark Seiler in 2002- ( which became known as Metrovation Brokerage, now renamed as Metrovation Retail Resources).

She has represented both landlords and tenants in real estate transactions and developments, including:
